Wild Edible and Medicinal Plants of Saranac River Trail Trek: June 25, 2016
June 25, 2016: This Trek will introduce participants to numerous wild edible and medicinal plants found throughout the Champlain Valley. Topics will include developing plant identification skills, as well as sustainable harvesting and preparation techniques. Led by Dr. Michael Burgess
Start at 9 AM near Riverside cemetery on Steltzer Street and move toward George Angell drive. The Trek lasts about 90 minutes.
